Identity and hierarchy
Every item should have a stable product name, brand family, reference code and formula-family classification. This hierarchy makes catalogs searchable and prevents similar variants from being confused during purchasing or receiving.
Commercial specifications
Trade records should separate individual format, case configuration, display information and market availability. Pricing belongs in account-specific commercial documents rather than permanent public content when terms vary by territory and volume.
Controlled updates
A product catalog is only useful when there is one approved source of truth. PWD Trade is being structured so the public site can be updated from a company-confirmed product file instead of scattered page edits.
