Retail planning

Retail display planning for specialty bottle ranges

A practical method for turning case formats and product families into a clear, maintainable retail presentation.

Start with the available selling space

Measure the actual counter, cabinet or shelf area before selecting the assortment. A defined space makes it easier to decide how many product faces can remain visible and whether the supplied display format suits the store environment.

Create a readable family structure

Group products in a way that store staff and customers can understand. Consistent brand and formula-family organization is more useful than mixing unrelated items by arrival date, and it supports faster replenishment when stock is received.

Balance choice and inventory depth

A large number of variants can reduce visibility when every item has only one unit on display. Compare the value of broader choice with the need to maintain reliable stock behind the display, especially across multi-location retail programs.

Use current approved assets

Product names, images and display materials should come from the current company-approved source. When packaging changes, update the retail record and brief store teams so older reference images do not create unnecessary authenticity questions.
